After you settle the fee with the Dr Blanks Team after the procedure, Medicare will refund you $233.90. We will process this claim for you on the day and you will receive it on the spot. Your procedure fee on the day is $865 and you will get $233.90 back from Medicare. The out-of-pocket fee for the whole procedure, aftercare and results is $631.10.
Can I claim a vasectomy under my private health?+
As this is an elective, non-hospital procedure, private insurance companies will not subsidise these procedures in Australia. We will process the Medicare rebate for you on the day in the clinic.
Is the price the same at every clinic?+

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?+

Does the 12-week semen test cost extra?+
Your semen test kit is given to you on the day of your procedure. Be sure to contact our clinic ahead of time to find out which pathology provider will bulk bill the semen test, as some pathology providers may charge patients a private fee for analysis.
